The World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 in different parts of the world with a series of activities, programs and actions to build awareness about the urgent need to protect nature and the planet.

The activity proposed by Casa Gallina, and produced with the help of participants in the Urban Agriculture Workshop, consisted of the production of 200 seed bombs and a tour of the barrio to plant them.

During the tour, the seed bombs were planted in flowerbeds, middle grounds and even crevices; some were also distributed among neighbors and businesses. The bombs were accompanied by a pamphlet with instructions on how to make the bombs using the Nengo Dango technique and general information about the 2015 World Environment Day.
