This summer workshop is aimed at creating a space for the development of environmental awareness and experimentation for children in public schools in Santa María La Ribera. Activities emphasize cooperation, creativity, and propagation of plants, while promoting the benefits that such activities have on individuals and on the community at large.

During the courses dedicated to groups of different ages, activities were focused on generating critical thinking about our habits as consumers of fruit and vegetables on our planet. Another goal was to foster responsible use and care of the environment.

The four-week workshop was designed for children ages four to thirteen, and was coordinated by Mauricio Badillo, Ketzali Arreola, Miriam Mora, and Alina Hernández.
