Edgardo studied visual and fine arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Recording, La Esmeralda in Mexico City. His work has been exhibited in diverse cities in individual shows including: Desde Oaxaca (From Oaxaca), Tabacalera Promoción del Arte, Madrid (2014); Tesoro (Treasure), Laurel Gitlen Gallery, New York (2013); La Trampa (The Trap), Luckman Gallery, LAXART, Los Angeles (2012);  and Efectos de Familia (Family Effects), Hamidrasha Gallery, Tel-Aviv, Israel, curated by Guy Ben-Ner (2010). He has participated in collective shows such as Sights and Sounds: Global Film and Video, Jewish Museum, New York (2015); Solo Projects, Rey Akdogan, Edgardo Aragón, Ilja Karilampi and Caitlin Keogh, MoMA Ps1, New York (2012); III Biennial of Youth Art in Moscow, Moscow, Russia (2012); 8th Biennial of Mercosul, Puerto Alegre, Brazil, (2011); El Horizonte del Topo (The Mole’s Horizon), BOZAR, Brussels, and One Foot apart, Leme Gallery, Sao Paolo, Brazil.
