Ketzali Arreola Blanco (Mexico City, 1992) has a bachelor’s degree in contemporary dance from the Escuela Nacional de Danza Clásica y Contemporánea of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. As a dancer, she has worked with different companies, such as Camerino 4, Master of Tears, and Eterno Caracol. She has also participated in different performing arts festivals in Mexico, France, and Ecuador. She received a grant in performing arts (2012) from the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. She has been a professor of contemporary dance, body expression, and classical dance techniques. Since 2014, she has been a volunteer in the Education Department of the Jumex Museum, where she has taught workshops to develop new audiences working closely with several exhibits. She has collaborated with inSite/Casa Gallina developing educational devices for children in Ulises Figueroa’s program Universe 4 – Zoological Library 1 – An Animal World Cabinet, and with Mauricio Badillo she created the Knowing Your Urban Garden workshop.
