Curator of contemporary art and artistic education projects, Celis studied at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Recording, “La Esmeralda”, and later earned her master’s at the Institute of Critical Studies in Mexico City. She collaborated at the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso Museum (2004-2008) and the Tamayo Museum (2008-2009). She has collaborated with magazines such as Ramona (Argentina), La Tempestad (The Storm), the Museum Gazette and Rufino, and the Tamayo Museum’s magazine. She was a permanent collaborator of art and exhibitions in “El fin del mundo” (The end of the world), a radio program on Reactor 105.7FM and curator of the Se Traspasa. Proyectos Nomadas. (Leasehold. Nomad Projects) space in the Museum of Modern Art. She has also served as curator of the cultural space Casa Vecina, in Mexico City. She is a founder member of PAE (Platform for Art Education), a collaborative network working on art education. Currently, Celis collaborates with inSite/ Casa Gallina as curator of cultural synergies.
