Ana-Bell-ChinoShe centers her work on the research and production of graphic narrative. Her work has been exhibited in different national and international spaces, such as: Arco 2005 in Con-Secuencias: Historieta Mexicana (Madrid, Spain, 2005, curated by Felipe Hernández Cava); Exposición Internacional de Historieta (Morón, Argentina, 2005); Creación en Movimiento-Jóvenes Creadores 2004–2005 (México City, 2006); Miradas Glocales (traveling exhibit that toured countries in Latin America, such as Brazil and Bolivia, 2010); Todos menos tú (México City, 2011, curated by Dr. Lakra).

She has received numerous awards and grants: Jóvenes Creadores (Young Creators) 2004, from CONACULTA-FONCA; Proyectos Artísticos y Culturales (Cultural and Artistic Projects for Literature) 2003 from the Instituto Mexicano de la Juventud IMJ; Programa de Apoyo para la Docencia e Investigación Artística PADID 2013; from the Centro Nacional de las Artes for a didactic material project (theoretical and practical book) for the graphic narrative workshop at the ENPEG La Esmeralda.

She has been a professor of Theory and Practice of Comics at the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México UACM; the Fábrica de Artes y Oficios FARO; the Instituto Tlaxcalteca de Cultura; the Cooperativa Cultural Cráter Invertido; and the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado ENPEG La Esmeralda in the Centro Nacional de las Artes, CNA.
