IMG_6363Lourdes Cruz Terán and Iván Pérez Samayoa lead Colectivo Estanquillo el 32, a neighborhood group dedicated to recovering the meaning of identity and of barrio in Santa María La Ribera. To that end, they promote awareness about responsible consumption and about a solidarity-based economy. Cruz Terán and Pérez Samayoa also direct Custodia de la Biodiversidad Medio Ambiente y Cultura Popular (CUSBIOMAC, A.C.) a nonprofit organization, whose mission has been to protect biodiversity and popular culture for the past ten years. Estanquillo el 32 collaborated with Casa Gallina in the research for the Minimal Botanic Atlas of Santa María La Ribera exhibit.
