Correa is an art historian specialising in fundraising for cultural institutions. She served as coordinator of national and international teams for planning, design, public relations and logistics for events and festivals around the opening of the Jumex Museum, November 2013. She has also served as the Assistant Director of Development at the Modern Art Museum (2007-2013). She was responsible for the Sponsorship and Scholarship Program of the Jumex Foundation/Collection (2004-2007). She helped the public relations of the Oasis Sonoro project, an activity programmed for the 70th anniversary of the Palacio de Bellas Artes; she was responsible for the department of Public Relations and Marketing at the Tamayo Contemporary Art Museum (2001-2004), and served as Head of Public Relations at the Carrillo Gil Museum (1999-2001). She was curatorial assistant at the Railway Museum and sales manager at the Azul Espacio Gallery. She served as the founding Director of Development at inSite/ Casa Gallina.
