(b. Mexico, 1968) Marianna lives and works in Mexico City. Her work is developed based on diverse social phenomena, which she uses as raw material. She studied photography in Mexico City and New York. She has received various prizes including the X Biennial Monterrey FEMSA, National System of Creators Scholarship for Young Creators from the National Fund for Culture and Arts and the XVI Encuentro de Arte Joven (Meeting of Young Artists), as well as several honorable mentions. Her work has been individually exhibited both in Mexico and abroad—it forms part of public and private collections in Mexico and the United States. Dellekamp collaborated as interlocutor in the presentation of Ulises Figueroa’s proposal.
