She studied visual arts at the ENPEG “La Esmeralda,” and has participated in contemporary art fairs as well as in collective exhibits in Italy, Belgium, Argentina, the US, Canada, and the UK. Her work has been part of collective exhibits in Mexico, such as Draw, at the Museo de la Ciudad, Mexico City, 2010; Mundo Cómic at the Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro, 2007; in the City of Saltillo, Propuesta 25 at the Museo del Palacio de Coahuila, 2011; Liminal Animal, Museo Universitario del Chopo, Mexico City, 2014; and Estudio de trazo at Mexico City, Museo de Arte Moderno, 2014.
She received the Young Creators Grant from the FONCA, both in the 2010–11 and the 2012–13 editions. Magdaleno lives and works in Mexico City. She painted the watercolors for Casa Gallina’s Minimal Botanic Atlas of Santa María La Ribera project.
