He studied graphic communication design at the UAM Azcapotzalco. For the past eight years, he has worked as a professional illustrator and has collaborated on books dedicated to children and young people with different publishing houses, such as CIDCLI, Pearson Education, Porrúa, Santillana and SM. He currently works in Men’s Health, Squire, and BBMundo magazines. He is co-founder of El Ilustradero group and the Oink publishing house, which specializes in illustrated books.
Mendoza and David Nieto have taught the second course of Graphic Design at Casa Gallina, where they introduced students to digital design platforms such as Adobe. They also coordinated creative exercises focused on the publicity campaign in the Santa María La Ribera barrio.
