Visual artist and curator David Miranda has a bachelor’s degree in visual art from the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado (ENPEG), and a master’s degree in curatorial studies from the FFyL UNAM. He coordinated the Aesthetics Education in Mexico project for the Instituto Mexicano de Arte al Servicio de la Educación (IMASE) and New York’s Lincoln Center Institute (2003–05). His artistic work has been exhibited in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Spain, and the United States. He is currently dedicated to his artistic work and he is also a curator of the Museo Experimental El Eco (UNAM) in Mexico City. David Miranda is a member of the Plataforma Arte Educación (PAE), and of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNA). Miranda collaborated with inSite/Casa Gallina in the discussion of Edgardo Aragón’s project when it was first presented.
