Niki Nakazawa is a founding member of the traveling restaurant Pichón, a gastronomic project dedicated to promoting cooking and consumption of local, fair trade products. She has a degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities Studies from the University of Chicago. She has worked in publishing as a translator, editorial coordinator and has published articles on contemporary culture. She is also the singer for pop band, The Triple Filter. Nakazawa was the guest chef at the soups and broths workshop of Open Kitchen.
