Editorial designer Salas has a degree in graphic and industrial design from Italy’s Scuola Politecnica di Design. His postgraduate studies include graphics, animation, and typography at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Switzerland. He has coordinated the editorial design for more than 250 museum publications in Mexico City, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, Paris, Milano, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Lima, Dallas, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Tel Aviv; he has also developed more than fifty corporate images for institutions such as Banamex, Tamsa, Hotel Habita, Modaincasa, the Tamayo Museum, and the Federico Silva Museum. He founded and is currently the director of Frontespizio, a design studio. He is dean of the School of Design at the Universidad de Anáhuac in Mexico City.
