Sánchez (b. Merida, 1988) pursued a degree in Visual Arts at the School of Arts of Yucatan. He has participated in different projects and productions related to design and the arts in the Yucatan Peninsula and in Mexico City. Recently, he won the Young Creators Scholarship in the discipline of sculpture from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts FONCA and was similarly selected in the VI Biennial of Visual Arts in Yucatan. In 2014, he won the public art award, Architecture in Yucatan. He has given solo and group exhibitions in museums and cultural centers of Mérida, such as the Fernando Garcia Ponce Museum (MACAY), Merida Olimpo Cultural Center, Museum of the City of Merida, Manolo Rivero Gallery | Frontground Gallery Merida, among others. His work is part of publications such as Strategies: Atelier Romo (2012) and the catalog Arts Mérida (2013-2014).
