Téllez, who considers herself a cook rather than chef, has completed various culinary programs and earned a Masters in Italian cuisine in the Piedmont region of Italy where she collaborated with renowned chefs. She proposes a modern kitchen respectful of tradition. In 2010, she was awarded the Amico Cucina Italiana nel mondo della awarded by the Accademia Italiana della Cucina and Presea 2010 by the Italian Cooking Academy, thanks to her work in the dissemination of regional Italian cuisine across the world. She is also a Master Sommelier. She is a presenter on television. For a year, she has been working as a cook in José Guadalupe Stews, a stall within the Mercado Roma serving pozole and chamorros as specialities. She has presented Mexican cuisine in numerous forums in Mexico and abroad. She has a Youtube channel that broadcasts daily recipes with a new twist.
