Julio Castro Carreon (b. Monterrey, 1976); Gabriel Cazares Salas (b. Monterrey, 1978) and Rolando Flores (b. Monterrey, 1975) formed Tercerunquinto in Monterrey in 1996. Tercerunquinto proposes reflections on the architectural, spatial and public through its work. Its members raised questions about the boundaries between public and private space through group work, examining the borders organized around the constitution of such definitions. Tercerunquinto projects have taken the form of architectural or infrastructural interventions that allow reflection on daily dynamics of interaction across space.
