haudenschild  Garage is a research and contemporary cultural production initiative founded in San Diego in 2003, and devoted to experimentation and discourse. Its programs include audiovisual presentations, symposia, and conferences, as well as the production of artistic projects. It also collaborates with other institutions. haudenschild Garage has sponsored projects and programs in renowned sites across the continent, such as REDCAT, the Americas Society, the New Orleans Museum of Art, as well as the art galleries at the University of California, San Diego, and San Diego State University. It also sponsored the display of the inSite archives at the Museo Universitario de Artes y Ciencias (MUAC, as per the Spanish acronym) in Mexico City, and a year of seminars at the Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas (C.I.A.) in Buenos Aires.

In 2010, haudenschild Garage created the Fundación Migdalia Rubio to support the education and daily activities of at-risk young people in Tijuana.
