The Instituto Goethe sponsored the development of Ana María Millán’s process. The artist gave a lecture to explain the research and production of her piece for inSite/Casa Gallina. The audience learned about strategies to establish bonds with participants, and the ways in which, through joint efforts, they created the characters, settings, and narratives for this 3-D animation piece. She also spoke about the processes required to create and assemble an animation: creating the script, storyboard, and technical screenplay, followed by the modeling and rigging of the animated elements to then produce movement, and finally to edit sound and special effects.
